Key Accounting Role

This is a key accounting role that involves ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's financial systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accounts, payroll (including STP), superannuation, payroll tax, and regular reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in management reporting and analysis, as well as Australian bookkeeping experience for small to medium businesses. They should also have Xero and Xero payroll certification, excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The company seeks a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional who can work independently and manage their schedule effectively. The role requires strong client service focus, effective planning and prioritization skills, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process accounts, payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, and regular reporting
  2. Manage multiple clients with shifting priorities
  3. Set up Xero files per client requirements
  4. Maximize HubDoc and DEXT efficiency
  5. Use Karbon for all tasks
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business Management
  • Experience in management reporting and analysis
  • At least three years Australian bookkeeping experience for small to medium businesses
  • Xero and Xero payroll certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
