The Senior DevOps Observability Engineer will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure monitoring solutions. This individual will work closely with the DevOps team to create an observability solution that aligns with the company's IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy observability solutions using OpenTelemetry and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate across application teams to integrate observability solutions into delivery pipelines and application codebases.
  • Communicate with governance streams to ensure adherence to process, quality, and architectural design.
  • Deliver against both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Take ownership and accountability for developing key features and drive them to completion.
  • Communicate effectively on progress and ensure impediments are raised early to minimize impact on delivery.
  • Participate in incident management to rectify production defects based on criticality and severity.

This role requires a strong understanding of observability pillars, including knowledge of tools like Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch. Experience with deploying and managing AWS resources is also essential. Additionally, this individual should have hands-on experience with full-stack software engineering using Java or Microsoft C#, as well as scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
