Tax Analyst Role Overview: The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to driving our finance compliance strategy, ensuring seamless interactions with government agencies, and delivering accurate and timely tax filings. Your role will focus on key responsibilities such as tax compliance, documentation, and submission of various reports to regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the preparation and submission of tax returns to BIR, incorporating timely and accurate updates for attachments like alphalists and summary lists.
  • Prepare and submit various administrative compliances to BIR, which include attachments for Quarterly and Annual ITR, Books of Accounts, Donation notifications, and Sworn Declarations of Vendors.
  • Coordinate document collection and reconciliation schedule preparation for BIR audits and VAT refund applications.
  • Contribute to month-end closing procedures involving tax provision, reclassification, and cleanup of tax General Ledger accounts.
  • Audit quarterly and annual Income Tax provisions for precision.
  • Monitor tax GL accounts for consistency with filed tax returns and upload discrepancies to FloQast.
  • Liaise with BIR regarding applications, such as BIR COR updates, company/branch registrations/closures, CAS permits, and tax inquiries, as necessitated.
  • Offer proactive support to colleagues on tax-related matters, requests, or reminders.
  • Prepare Tax Notes in AFS and General Form Financial Statements, uploading them in the SEC eFAST portal.
  • Additional tasks such as tax file archiving, maintaining/writing in SI/AR records if needed, coordination with external experts on task-related topics, and more.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.

Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel:

  • WFH (8AM-5PM PH Time).
