Summary of the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and hard-working Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst. The role will report directly into the Group Data Analytics and Reporting Manager and will play a key role in establishing a global data analytics and reporting team. The data analytics and reporting team will be responsible for supporting the business by providing the internal reporting requirements and data analytics involved to provide actionable insights to further improve business decisions and performance.

The Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creating reports for the global and regional business leaders needs, which entails discussion with the global and regional business leaders to gather the requirements and develop the action plan and strategy to achieve the desired reports.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets using Power BI

• Understand the business operating model by discussing with the leaders to make sure key metrics and KPIs are optimized and relevant for the business

• Design and develop reports and dashboards to meet business needs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights

• Maintain and optimize existing reports and dashboards 

• Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity

• Support the data warehouse team to ensure best practices are applied and reporting requirements are met

• Support in the identification of NetSuite process changes to support the delivery of reporting requirements

• Work closely with the Group Commercial and Finance Director and Financial, Analytics and Reporting Manager to ensure that the development aligns with the global reporting definitions

• Automate manual reporting processes using Power BI

• Supporting the resolution and debugging of any issues with the reports

• Maintaining report documentations

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and reporting

Qualifications, skills & experience

• 5 + years of relevant working experience

• Proficiency in using Power BI and other Microsoft applications is essential

• Experience with Oracle NetSuite, SQL and/or other data manipulation language is strongly preferred

• Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills

• Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Proactive self-starter with first class organizational ability, who is detail oriented, and results focused, and able to oversee and support the financial administration of several projects at once

• Proactive and a committed team player

• Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision

• Can work on flexible hours to support global teams in many time zones, meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
