Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - 6 Months Project Based (Can be extended)Key Responsibilities:
• Test Automation Mastermind: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated automated test frameworks and test suites using industry-leading test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, Puppeteer, etc. Your innovative test code will ensure extensive test coverage, enabling rapid and reliable releases.
• Strategic Test Planning: Collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, product owner, and product managers to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies. You will identify test scenarios and create meticulous test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Continuous Integration and Delivery Guru: Be the driving force behind integrating automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline, leveraging tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Your continuous monitoring of test execution will provide timely feedback to the development team, facilitating early defect detection and resolution.
• Defect Detective: Identify, report, and track software defects using cutting-edge issue tracking systems like Jira or Bugzilla. Your meticulous approach will help isolate, reproduce, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues, ensuring a high level of software quality.
• Performance Testing Virtuoso: Develop and execute performance and load tests using performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling, evaluating the application's responsiveness, scalability, and stability. Your analysis of test results will enable collaboration with the development team to optimize application performance.
• Test Data Maestro: Create and manage diverse test data sets to support various test scenarios, ensuring repeatability of automated tests and robust test coverage.
• Test Documentation Extraordinaire: Document test plans, test cases, and test results with meticulous detail, maintaining clear and comprehensive records of the testing process. Your test summaries and reports will provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
• Regression Testing Magician: Conduct thorough regression testing to validate new features and enhancements, ensuring that they don't impact existing functionality negatively.
• Continuous Learning Advocate: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, tools, and best practices related to software testing, automation, and quality assurance. Your innovative spirit will drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• Collaboration and Communication Prodigy: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, product managers, and project managers. Your communication skills will ensure clarity in test status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript, coupled with a strong grasp of software development concepts.
• Experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with specific test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, Puppeteer, etc.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and various testing types (functional, regression, performance, security).
• Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills to identify defects and root causes efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
