CyberMaxx is a US- based, leading cybersecurity company dedicated to preventing, detecting, and responding to cyber attacks. With a 24/7/365 security operations center and a team of cybersecurity experts, we have been protecting customers against advanced cybersecurity threats for over 19 years. We are currently seeking a SOC Analyst to join our team.

We have teams in the US, Ireland and the APAC region. This role is specifically being hired in the Philippines. No candidates outside of this region will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and incidents and provide real-time response and mitigation
  • Perform analysis of log files, evidence, and other information to determine best methods for identifying the perpetrator(s) of a network intrusion
  • Recommend system improvements and optimizations to prevent future incidents
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance security protocols and improve incident response strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SOC Analyst role or similar
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience with security systems and tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Additional information

This role is fully remote but the employee must be located in the Philippines.
