Job Summary

Provide repair and overhaul of motorized equipment and other aircraft ground support facilities.

Role Functions and Responsibilities

  • Check the mechanical systems and related equipment of motor vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and pinpoint areas of systems where corrective actions are needed.
  • Check mechanical and electrical items removed from motorized vehicles or ground servicing equipment and perform the necessary repair, overhaul, or modification of parts or components to keep them serviceable.
  • Test and adjust units and/or assemblies of all mechanical systems, equipment of all motor vehicles, and ground servicing equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and company procedures.
  • Execute all assigned work in an efficient and cost-effective manner in order to maximize the utilization of the Companyâs resources of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities
  • Sign off on accomplished tasks on applicable company or regulatory records and accomplish other forms and related paperwork that are needed in the performance of their duties
  • Maintain a clean working environment at all times and follow all company safety rules and regulations
  • Responsible for accomplishing the regular preventive maintenance schedule of all aircraft ground support equipment
  • Responsible in securing and updating their ramp operations and AMA-GECN driving permit
  • Take on the responsible in ensuring the completeness of their hand tools
  • Assist the GSE Master Mechanic in accomplishing their task in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • In-charge of dispatching / receiving motorized GSE to Equipment Operators in good condition
  • Undertake assignments or other related duties as the Lead Mechanic - GSE may assign

Qualifications

  • Have completed at least 2nd year in college
  • Preferably with TESDA certified NCII
  • Must have active LTO Professional Driver's License (with 1,2 or 1,2,3 restriction code)
