POSITION SUMMARY

The Network Administrator will represent his/her department towards the Business Units and project teams and will ensure a determining role in the management, support, maintenance, implementation, administration, and lifecycle management of network environments.

This person must have deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies and Network features and must be able to lead, operate, and continuously improve the environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain under operational conditions the current and new network infrastructure and security solutions for the Support processes.

2. Build, deploy, and administer/manage the current and new network infrastructure (including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services like NLB, Riverbed, Meraki, F5, Cisco ISE/NAC, Velocloud SD-WAN, SolarWinds) and security solutions (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Skybox).

3. Senior level of operational support on:

- Troubleshooting, incidents, and problem management.

- Reporting and communication on activity, quality, and performance of the network platforms and security solutions

- Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for support.

4. Assist new implementations of all Network and Security Infrastructure components.

5. Proactive in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency, and life cycle over the network platforms and security solutions.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Contribute to the search and qualification of new solutions.

2. Provide recommendations to the highest level of expertise teams.

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:

1. Preferably CCNP Level.

2. Administration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks

  • Protocol configuration and troubleshooting (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • LAN technologies administration and troubleshooting (VRRP, VSS, STP)
  • QoS mechanisms
  • Wifi controllers and access points administration
  • Load Balancer (NetScaler)

3. Security Administration with Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, Pulse remote access, Reverse Proxy.

4. Preferably Palo Alto certified.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

1. 3-5 years experience in infrastructure, with 3-5 years as Network Administrator.

2. Strong Knowledge of Cisco network products, Palo Alto, and Riverbed.

3. Self-motivated, and eager to learn in the IT profession.

4. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.

5. Customer service oriented.

6. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

7. English speaking mandatory (French reading would be appreciated).

8. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand business constraints.

9. Amenable to a hybrid setup - thrice a week onsite work in Alabang and twice a week remote work.
