Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, approve, and review building works on new and existing buildings.
  • Review, analyze and assess plans for compliance to standards.
  • Enforce safety and building standards of BCA and NCC of Australia.
  • Provide advice on building regulations, planning permission, and other requirements to clients and stakeholders.
  • Working with architects, design consultants to provide BCA compliance advice and technical support on development in all sectors.
  • Manage and coordinate the approval process for building permits and licenses.
  • Coordinate and prepare Building Code of Australia (BCA) audit reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building compliance, safety standards enforcement, or a related area.
  • Thorough understanding of the Building Codes of Australia (BCA) and the National Construction Code (NCC).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex plans and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client consultation and stakeholder management.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of excellence in every project.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
