We have a great opportunity fora Quality Advisor, based in the Philippines as part of a workshare team, remotely assisting our Australia office.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating Quality in their Operating Region, while supporting initiatives of the Quality Manager, as per the Region's Quality Plan.
  • The position is pivotal in the implementation of Quality strategies and processes and instilling a strong Quality culture while implementing the GHD Quality Management System to achieve continual improvement and legal compliance.
  • The role also assists the Finance team with administrative and compliance related tasks.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the Quality Manager, Business and Business Group Leaders, Project Directors, Project Managers, and staff.
  • Assist in the development of, review and implementation of Quality documents following relevant business changes or when compliance risks &/or gaps in personnel knowledge are identified.
  • Manage corrective actions arising from audits to ensure effective and timely completion.
  • Assist in the Region's preparation for external (e.g., client & ISO 9001) audits.
  • Provision of Quality information for proposals and tenders.
  • Function as Quality Manager - WA and Finance Assistant when leave coverage is needed.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Certificate IV or greater tertiary qualifications in a Quality Management System or engineering/science-related discipline is desirable.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Having 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Collaborator, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge
  • Sound judgement, decisiveness, and strong time management skills.
  • Intermediate or advanced MS Excel skills required. Prior knowledge of BST10 is desirable.
  • Ability to run financial reports (concur expenses, prebills, vendor invoices, status of budget corrective action plans (BCAP), WIP, project variations / repricing, lapsed project end date, timesheets etc.) and follow up task owners.

This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City, or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base/location.
