About the role

We are extremely excited to announce that we are inviting candidate applications for a Project Delivery Specialist - Infrastructure to be based in our Manila office in Pasig City on a hybrid working setup.

The Project Delivery Specialist - Infrastructure oversees the complete delivery of designated projects following Orica's project management protocols and standards. Their primary goal is to ensure projects are delivered within the specified timeframe and budget while achieving project, IT, and business objectives.

What you will be doing

Project Planning

  • Create and maintain a detailed project plan including all project activities, resources, goals, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, functional and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with Delivery PMO Analysts, IT Project Co-ordinators and Infrastructure Delivery Specialists to obtain necessary project resources including personnel and support infrastructure

Project Management

  • Manage the end to end delivery of infrastructure and application build projects from scoping through to embedding
  • Track project progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with project management methodologies and standards
  • Perform regular project reporting including reporting on schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, team, stakeholders and benefits
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all project activities
  • Promote the consistent adoption and implementation of project and program management methodologies across all of Oricaâs infrastructure and application projects
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and ensure projects are delivered with minimal variances from the forecast
  • Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained
  • Conduct status report meetings with key stakeholders and address issues/risks in an effective and timely manner

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage expectations of all project stakeholders across the âDesignâ and âBuildâ teams
  • Liaise with the PMO Lead to schedule and resource projects sufficiently to meet Oricaâs IT Demand
  • Escalate decisions to the Project Delivery Leader, as required to start, stop and pass through key project stage gates
  • Manage project-related vendors throughout the vendor lifecycle from appointment through to disengagement and regular performance management
  • Liaise with Lead Solution Architects to gain technical insight into the solutions to contribute to the development of project plans

What you will bring

  • Tertiary qualified
  • 5 + years experience in a Project Management function
  • 4 + years experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC)
  • PMP Certification
  • Excellent project management skills including budget, benefit, schedule and team management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to maintain good working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
  • Demonstrated customer focus by evaluating decisions from the customerâs perspective; building strong customer relationships and partnering well to help fulfil their needs
