Clinical Instructor

Minimum Qualification:

• Education: Masters Degree in Nursing (MN, MAN, MSN) or any other allied Health Sciences, on going MAN, MN or MSN are considered.
• Experience: Teaching experience in BSN concepts, clinical instruction an advantage.
• A member of good standing, of an accredited Nursing Organization
• Should possess the following competencies:
• Commitment—deep sense of responsibility to render service for the development of the students' well-being and for the advancement of his/her discipline
• Knowledge of subjects—expertise in his/her field or discipline
• Teaching for independent learning—ability to organize teaching-learning processes to enable students to maximize their learning potentials
• Management of learning—ability to create and manage a conducive learning environment and at the same time guide, monitor, and evaluate student learning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts effective instruction and assessment during clinical practice trainings of undergraduate nurses and nurse professionals in the classroom, virtual skills laboratory, hospital, and community facilities.
• Facilitates education and evaluation to nursing students and nursing instructors within a specialized area of nursing.
• Guide and instruct students in the clinical, community and skills laboratory setting.
• Accommodate all students concern related to enrollment and online registration process.
• Develop and update HCT nursing course curricula.
• Conducts annual inventory of equipment, consumables, and tools in the skills laboratory.
• Represent HCT in presentation of training proposal to partner universities, hospitals, and other corporates agencies.
• Prepares annual budget for the Virtual Skills Laboratory.
• Supervise HCT nurse instructors in evaluating and submitting student's grades and other requirements for graduation and certificate completion.
• Prepares document for CHED, TESDA, DOLE and PRC accreditation, registration, and renewal.
• Communicates directly to potential clients and customers over the phone.
• Directly reports to the Education Director and Program Chair.
• Teach nursing courses through online or face to face approach.
