Job Summary:
A Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. PAs are trained to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in various healthcare settings. Their responsibilities include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, performing procedures, and assisting in surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:
Take detailed medical histories.
Perform physical examinations.
Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests (lab work, X-rays, etc.).
Diagnose medical conditions and diseases.
Treatment & Patient Care:
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Prescribe medications (where allowed by state law).
Provide patient education on lifestyle changes, medication use, and disease prevention.
Follow up on patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Medical Procedures & Surgeries:
Assist in surgeries or minor medical procedures.
Perform minor surgeries or other interventions (e.g., stitching wounds, draining abscesses).
Provide intraoperative support during surgeries.
Collaboration:
Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient care.
Refer patients to specialists or coordinate care when necessary.
Emergency & Critical Care:
Respond to medical emergencies and provide initial care.
Assist in managing critically ill patients in settings like ICUs or emergency rooms.
Administrative & Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation (medical charts, progress notes).
Manage patient intake, including reviewing vital signs and medical histories.

Skills & Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of BS Nursing
With or without experience Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Key Skills:
Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking.
Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Manual dexterity for medical procedures.
