1.0 GENERAL:

 Directs the activities of the QA/QC Personnel and ensures that specifications and quality procedures are followed during the inspection of parts and SDC work processes.

2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

2.1 Responsible for the training of quality control inspectors and staff.

2.2 Directs the work of inspectors involved in evaluating incoming materials and products during the production process.

2.3 Develops the quality control procedures and analyzes the data from inspection reports.

2.4 Must resolve quality problems as they are revealed through inspection procedures.

2.5 Works with purchasing in evaluating vendors for compliance to quality standards. Inspection data from quality control processes can identify problems with vendors or materials used in production.

2.6 Schedule inspectors and ensure that production departments have audits of the processes and parts. The person in the supervisor position hires and trains inspectors in the quality department.


3.0 EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

3.1 Education:
 Graduate of engineering courses or any related technical course.

3.2 Experience:
 At least 5-10 years supervisory and quality related experience

3.3 Others:
 Good communication and personal relation skills
 Computer literate
 Must be familiar with inspection processes and procedures as well as the test and measuring equipment used during quality inspections
