JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
• Performs material expediting, receipt verification, and storage preparation for urgent priority material requirements.
• Receive goods / materials according to warehousing procedure and implement proper storage as required based on the type of items being received. Checks the receiving documents for compliance (BL, Shipping Invoice, delivery note).
• Perform proper sorting of materials (new materials / inventory materials) to properly store the items and develop effective material retrieval.
• Use the standard warehousing forms based on the necessity of material request.
• Coordinate with Procurement personnel for all incoming materials. Manage the handling, recording, storage and loading / unloading of materials and prepare materials for distribution.
• Always integrate the best practices known in order to handle the materials properly and effectively. Always think safety of self and of materials while working on areas that needs focus and full attention.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and its facilities to ensure safety condition of materials and most importantly the safety of all personnel working in the warehouse.
• Ensure all materials have daily updated stocks and all quantity is accounted and correct.
• Always confirm with the Warehouse Supervisor / Foreman on all action needed related to all activities of the warehouse. Clarifies all the gray areas of the job with the Warehouse Supervisor / Foreman.
• Preparation of reports and presentations to the Warehouse Supervisor as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Graduate of any vocational course.
Experience:
• Two years minimum experience on Warehousing / Material Expediter Jobs.
Others:
• Good knowledge of warehousing principles.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
