JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Information Technology (IT) Assistant

Job Overview:
Information Technology (IT) Assistant support an organization's digital and networking processes. They usually work in a team to install, secure, maintain and update the company's digital assets, networks and systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT principles and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems. The IT Assistant will provide technical assistance to our staff, install and configure hardware and software, and maintain our computer systems

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware and software issues

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software

• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

• Provide system administration (CCTV System, biometrics, internet configuration) and maintenance

• Respond to and diagnose technical hardware and software issues

• Research and recommend new technologies

• Create and maintain documentation of technical processes

• Follow up with users to ensure their technical issues have been resolved

• Basic knowledge in common electrical components
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year IT support experience

• A graduate of Computer Technology/Science or equivalent qualification/ under graduate of BS Computer Engineering

• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity

• Problem-solving skills

• Communication and reporting skills

• A passion for technology and innovation

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
