Electrician (Warehouse)

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Staff – Electrician is responsible for basic electrical repair and maintenance of auctioned items (e.g., appliances, equipment), as well as assisting with general warehouse tasks such as sorting, moving, and organizing incoming stock. The role requires physical strength, technical skill, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dusty warehouse environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Check and test items for electrical issues before they are displayed for auction or sale
Ensure safety and proper handling of tools and electrical items
Cooperate with coders and checkers to ensure proper labeling and movement of tested items
Assist in lifting, sorting, tagging, and arranging warehouse items when not on repair duty
Follow safety protocols while working with live wires or powered items

Qualifications:
TESDA NC II or equivalent certificate in Electrical Installation is an advantage, but not required ▪ Hands-on experience in repairing household or industrial appliances
Must have knowledge of basic electrical safety practices
Can troubleshoot small appliances and household electrical items
Physically fit and safety-conscious
Must not have any medical condition that limits physical work or exposure to dust/heat
Must be physically strong and able to lift heavy items
Willing to work in a hot, dusty warehouse
Fast-moving, disciplined, and can follow instructions well
Can work independently with minimal supervision
