Duties and Responsibilities
. Determine and performs inspections on all procedures and oversees testing methods of materials to maintain high standards in quality
· Review quality of materials on site to ensure compliance to project requirements
· Coordinates with Procurement Manager to set parameters and material requirements for the project
· Supervise and monitors performance of QA/QC team on site
· Provide or Create and Reviews method statement
· Creates initial checklist for guidance by using standard QA/QC departmental forms
· Reviews all documents prior to client submission and monitors project progress
· Issues warnings of non-conformance or possible failure of acceptance of works done due to quality and wrong issuance of works
· Liaise with the Client's QA/QC Team with regards to punchlists, submission requirements and handovers and goes to weekly construction meeting with the client
· Coordinates with Project Manager for any item which is deemed to have any cost implications
· Monitors performance of subcontractor and their quality of works
