As a Commercial Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. You will work closely with your client, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data and ensure that estimates align with project goals and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Conduct site visits and gather relevant information for estimating.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment requirements for projects.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, subcontractor quotes, and overhead costs.
Collaborate with project teams to develop value engineering options.
Create and maintain accurate project cost databases.
Assist in bid preparation and submission processes.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
Monitor project costs and provide cost analysis reports.
Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related insights.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not always required).
With Australian background (Preferred but not required)
Proven experience as a commercial estimator in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Commercial estimating software (Cubit Software).
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of industry trends and cost factors affecting construction projects.
