Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts regularly.
Preparing and submitting BAS (Business Activity Statements) and ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws.
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Generating financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Handling payroll processing, ensuring compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and other legal requirements.
Liaising with external accountants and auditors.
Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensuring all financial records are up to date and compliant with Australian regulations.

Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with Australian accounts.
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Tax Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Australian tax laws, including GST, BAS, and superannuation.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in maintaining financial records.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with Australian clients and colleagues.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and provide solutions.
