RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation and filing of Nabati Philippines tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of applicable tax forms.
Support the Tax Manager in ensuring compliance with local tax laws, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and projections.
Help monitor tax deadlines and prepare documentation in advance to ensure timely filing.
Maintain and organize tax-related records, ensuring proper documentation is kept for audit and compliance purposes.
Aid in the collection of necessary data for income tax audits and prepare responses, schedules, and other documents as required.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the tax department.
Provide administrative support in the development and implementation of tax strategies and planning.
Track tax law changes and communicate relevant information to the tax team.
Assist in the preparation of reports and tax-related presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with external consultants and government agencies, including the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), to support tax compliance and resolve tax-related queries.
Contribute to various internal audits and special tax-related projects as directed by the Tax Manager.
Assist in the reconciliation of tax accounts and provide support for tax provision calculations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous experience in tax or accounting is a plus.
Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with tax software is an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in the tax field
