As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test cases, analyzing manual test cases for automation opportunities, and working closely with application teams to ensure robust testing practices. Your role includes enhancing test scripts, collaborating across teams, and participating in initiatives that drive continuous improvement in processes and technology.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Automated Tests:
- Design and create automated test scripts using Tosca Testsuite or equivalent tools.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing test automation scripts as needed.

Manual Test Review and Automation Feasibility:
- Review manual test cases to determine suitability for automation and provide actionable feedback to project teams.

Environment Setup and Configuration:
- Assist in establishing and configuring testing environments for automated test execution.

Test Execution and Monitoring:
- Execute automated test scripts according to project timelines and scopes.
- Continuously monitor test results and report issues using defect tracking tools.

Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including application developers and QA teams, to resolve testing-related issues.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on test progress, risks, and issues according to the project’s risk management guidelines.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Proactively recommend and support improvements to policies, processes, and technology.
- Participate in initiatives such as root cause analysis, focus group discussions, and quality improvement teams.

- Manual Testing Support:
- Conduct manual test case execution as required, using test management and tracking tools.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Primary Skill: Hands-on experience with Tosca Testsuite for test automation.
- Familiarity with Tosca Frameworks (TBox, Classic).
- Knowledge of integrating test automation tools with Test Management Systems (e.g., QTest).
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its intersection with testing processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, written documentation, and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

- Certifications related to Tosca Testsuite or other automation tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and processes, such as Jenkins.
- Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager Integration and Tosca Orchestrated Service Virtualization (OSV).
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
