The accounting staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions within the organization. Working closely with the accounting team, this role supports various aspects of financial management, contributing to the overall success and compliance of the company.

Responsibilities:

Financial Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial transactions.
Record and reconcile daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for payment.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely receipt of payments.
Bank Reconciliation:

Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and accounting records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Generate financial reports and analysis for management review, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Support the budgeting process by gathering financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of financial forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for deviations from planned figures.
Compliance and Audit Support:

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.
Software and Systems Management:

Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to record transactions, generate reports, and maintain financial records.
Contribute to the optimization and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather financial information, address inquiries, and support business objectives.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners on financial matters.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
-Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial information and trends.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
