Job Purpose
The Inventory Analyst of Foodcrafters Inc. is responsible in accounting and monitoring of inventory accuracy record vs. actual. He/She also checked the status of inventory as to good or expired. She reconcile inventory records with the warehouse and report monthly/daily variances if there is.
Key accountabilities:
1. Analyze and verify the copy of forms issued by the warehouse against encoded records. These are the following forms:
Material Receiving Report/Material Return Slip
Stock Withdrawal Slip – RM/FG
Withdrawal Dispatch slip/Trade Return Slip
Material Request & Issuance Slip
Stock Transfer Slip – RM / Product Waste Disposal Form
2. Account the series of above forms to ensure that all transactions has been recorded
3. Weekly Reconciliation with Warehouse for early detection of items for recon providing document cut offs used
4. Perform month end count on all areas for actual inventory such as:
Cold storage for Raw Meat and Finished Goods
Dry Warehouse
Production
R & D Ingredients
Supplies and other Marketing Materials
5. Reconciliation of month end actual count of inventories needed in Financial Report. This includes:
Purchases reconciliation (recorded on payables against posted on inventory)
Finished Goods reconciliation transferred against produced
Stock for billing to sister companies.
Disposed stocks (e.g. expired, spoiled, etc.)
Other stock movement such as condemned, replacement etc.
6. Final ending inventory report for the month to be use in Financial Report Preparation.
This includes inventory variances summary and per category
7. Prepare comparative reports such as:
Moving and Non Moving Stocks
Expired and Soon to Expired Stocks
Summary of Withdrawal of stocks of different department for recording of expense, including q.a. sample.
8. Performs other functions as deemed necessary by the Company Officer.
9. Commitment and compliance in the food safety and quality policy of Foodcrafters Inc.
Essential Requirement and Competencies:
• Graduate of Accountancy or any related discipline
• Core competencies required for the position.
• At least 2-3 year related experience
• Specialized Knowledge in:
Inventory Process
Background in accounting processes
Office Housekeeping (Reports Filing and Records Maintenance, labelling )
Candidates who possess, among other skills, the following:
• Keen on Figures
• Oral and Written Communications (English and Filipino)
• Computer (MS Word, Excel)
• Good analytical skills
