Biñan Laguna, Philippines GBHFI School - College of Criminology Full time

The Maintenance and Cleaning Staff at GBHFI College of Criminology is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of campus facilities. This role involves performing maintenance tasks as well as cleaning duties to uphold the institution's standards of cleanliness and provide a conducive environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
2. Conduct inspections of campus buildings, grounds, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergencies to address issues and minimize disruptions to campus operations.
4. Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to maintain cleanliness in classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and other campus facilities.
5. Empty trash receptacles, collect recyclables and dispose of waste properly in accordance with campus policies and environmental regulations.
6. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, replenish supplies, and ensure they are well-maintained and stocked with necessary items.
7. Assist with setting up and arranging furniture, equipment, and materials for campus events, meetings, and activities as needed.
8. Follow established safety protocols and procedures when performing maintenance tasks and using equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals.
9. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and incidents to the appropriate supervisor or department for resolution.
10. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, and submit requisitions for replenishment as needed.
11. Collaborate with other campus departments and staff members to support campus-wide initiatives and activities.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Previous experience in maintenance, custodial, or cleaning roles preferred
3. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
4. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
6. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
8. Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by the institution
