Civil Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage wastewater construction projects from inception through completion. The Civil Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage project plans, including schedules, budgets, resources, and milestones. Utilize project management software to monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.
Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Ensure all project activities comply with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements. Implement and oversee quality control processes.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain effective communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and reports.
Oversee project finances, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
Ensure all necessary permits and regulatory approvals are obtained and maintained. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Manage the allocation of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet project objectives.
Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and manage any changes or disputes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in wastewater or related sectors.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and other relevant engineering software. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
