Java System Engineer

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other
allied courses
At least 3+ years experience in Java Development
Extensive experience in the requirements analysis and documentation
development in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Extensive Experience in development using current technologies and
languages on Java (Spring Network), JSON and on Web Service Protocols (REST, SOAP, etc,)
Experience in RDBMS, preferably on Oracle, My SQL, MS Access and non-RDBMS database
Preferably have a working knowledge in Front End UI programming,
VB.net, Gitlab and AIX Unix
Well versed in systems analysis and programming
Good in oral and written communications
Good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Excellent computer skills with a variety of computer software applications
in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, graphing
editing software and diagramming tools.
Work requires continuous attention to detail in composing, typing and
proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Adheres to moral and ethical standards
Have a high sense of responsibility and accountability
Resourceful and with initiative
Exhibits integrity and a keen sense for learning and self-development
Flexible and adaptable to changes

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinates with other Systems Engineers and Technical Writer for the systems to be developed or revised
Constructs and tests the system based on required specifications and coding standards
Complies with quality assurance policies of the assigned project/initiative by performing unit testing prior to delivering outputs for Systems Integration Testing (SIT)
Ensures that all deliverables, including program codes and professional services, are always in accordance with the required quality and regulatory standards
Supports all assigned systems and resolves any application errors that may have been observed and reported
Performs regular status reporting
Completes required documentations within standard productivity level in
coordination with Technical Writer
Performs source code review on outputs of other Systems Engineers prior to delivering them for User Acceptance Testing
Keeps abreast of new technological advancements that impact the systems being supported, including data analysis and development, data management and data structures
Performs other tasks that may be assigned to him from time to time
