Accounting Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of an Accounting Supervisor involves the supervision and management of the accounting department’s day to day activities and operations.

This position is responsible, for guaranteeing the timely documentation of transactions, preparing financial statements, leading the accounting department and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. The Accounting Supervisor plays a role, in upholding the organization’s wellbeing and integrity.

Contribute financial data to business plans, strategic plans and reviews as necessary to ensure they meet accounting operational standards
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports
Develop and monitor budget information for the accounting department; track expenditures and variances, and take corrective measures as needed
Audit transactions to approve ledger entries
Strong knowledge of financial statements and financial reporting,BIR,Taxation and PEZA Vat Zero Rated requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

BS Accountancy/Accounting Graduate
Proven 2 to 5 years work experience as Accounting Supervisor/Officer
CPA is an advantage but not required
Familiarity with Accounting and data analysis
Skilled in Microsoft office applications
Knowledgeable in handling Accounts Receivables/Payable
Good Communication skills
Good problem-solving skill
Fluent in English and Tagalog
Good in Word, PPT, Excel
Be proactive, positive and responsible
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal control systems, and understanding of manufacturing and inventory control are required.
Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software.
With physical inventory and cycle count experience in a cost environment
With working knowledge on Accounting System,Quickbooks, ERP, Oracle exposure is a plus.
Ability to independently anticipate, organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Inventory Management and Auditing
Knowledgeable in all aspect in BIR Transaction and Taxation
