JOB SUMMARY:
Electrician 1 plays a fundamental role in supporting electrical construction activities at the project site. Reporting to the Leadman, the Electrician 1 assists in executing electrical tasks under supervision, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations. They possess entry-level technical skills and knowledge to perform basic electrical installations, bending and layout of conduits, and wiring tasks with guidance from experienced electricians.

DUTY (Critical/key obligation to perform)
TOOLS AND MATERIALS FAMILIARIZATION:
• Familiarize with electrical tools, equipment, and materials, understanding their respective uses and applications in electrical construction.
CONDUIT LAYOUT AND BENDING:
• Assist in bending and layout of small PVC, IMC, EMT, RSC conduits under the supervision of an immediate superior, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
WIRING ASSISTANCE:
• Assist Electrician 2 and 3 in wiring basic power and lighting systems, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Participate in the installation of wiring devices and lighting fixtures under the supervision of the Leadman or Foreman.

SAFETY COMPLIANCE:
• Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols during work activities.
PROFILE OF JOB / POSITION HOLDER
EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification as an Electrician is required.

PASSED ELECTRICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
• with TESDA Certificate
Experience in Electrical or Construction Firm an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Helper Electrician or in a similar role in electrical construction or related field.
• Successfully passed all requirements of Helper Electrician and trade test for Electrician 1 conducted by the Foreman and approved by the Project Manager.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Familiarity with basic electrical concepts, tools, and materials used in electrical construction.
• Basic understanding of conduit bending and layout techniques for small PVC, IMC, EMT, RSC conduits.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
• Good communication skills to follow instructions, communicate with team members, and report work progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
