Key Responsibilities of a Convenience Store Supervisor:

1. Store Operations:
o Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures
o Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
o Maintain a clean and organized store environment

2. Customer Service:
o Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints
o Promote customer loyalty programs and track customer loyalty
o Ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience

3. Inventory Management:
o Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking merchandise
o Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
o Identify and report inventory discrepancies

4. Cash Handling and Security:
o Manage cash handling procedures, including counting and reconciling cash
o Identify and report suspicious transactions
o Ensure that security protocols are followed

5. Team Management:
o Supervise and train store staff, including setting performance goals and expectations
o Provide feedback and coaching to staff members
o Conduct performance evaluations

6. Sales and Marketing:
o Promote sales growth and drive revenue
o Implement sales strategies, including upselling and cross-selling
o Merchandise products to drive sales

7. Safety and Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
o Conduct safety training and drills
o Report safety incidents and near misses
