Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, your focus will be 75% on infrastructure and 25% on data engineering, and you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling cloud infrastructure and data solutions to support our AI-powered applications.
This involves working with state-of-the-art technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Terraform, and Azure Open AI. You will closely collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure
Design, develop, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure.
Ensure infrastructure is optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
Data Engineering
Optimize and manage data pipelines, leveraging Snowflake for data warehousing and real-time data processing.
Ensure data systems are efficient, reliable, and secure.
Automation & Scripting
Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management.
Develop reusable and efficient scripts to streamline infrastructure operations.
AI Integration
Collaborate with data scientists to scale AI models using Azure Open AI and Amazon Bedrock.
Ensure seamless integration of AI models within the cloud infrastructure.
Monitoring & Performance
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity.
Use metrics and tools to measure system performance and drive improvements.
Security & Compliance
Ensure that infrastructure and data solutions comply with industry-standard security practices (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
Implement robust data protection measures and disaster recovery solutions.
Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to design and implement cloud and data infrastructure solutions.
Contribute to the overall design and architecture of AI-powered applications.
Documentation
Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of solutions, configurations, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Experience with programming and scripting (Python, Typescript, BASH).
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation).
Deep understanding of core networking concepts and data storage (SQL/NoSQL databases).
Data engineering skills, particularly in managing data pipelines (experience with Snowflake is a plus).
