As a Loan Application Specialist, you will contribute to maintaining accurate records, adhering to compliance guidelines and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.  Your expertise in loan processing procedures, underwriting principles and lending regulations will be essential in ensuring efficient and accurate loan application processing.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound inquiries from US consumers about personal financing
  • Efficiently complete quick personal finance application forms and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with customers to gather additional information or clarification regarding their loan applications.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries regarding loan application, eligibility criteria and documentation requirements.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.
  • Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure efficient processing of loan applications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan applications, approvals, and denials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to loan processing and underwriting.
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines and internal policies to ensure a high level of integrity and risk management.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the US financial industry, especially related to consumer finance
  • Knowledge of credit ratings, their implications and how they impact financing decisions
  • .Familiarity with basic standard and practices of financing in the U.S.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S or Australian campaigns, preferably in credit card or personal finance.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with relevant software.
