DELIVERY
  • Assists in receiving stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct. 
  • Cleans warehouse to maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
  • Delivers a variety of items to specific areas to distribute items from internal or external sources over-scheduled and/or unscheduled routes to assigned locations and/or individuals. 
  • Drives vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.) to transport products and materials to designated sites. 
  • Assists in loading and unloading to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport. 
  • Maintains delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) to ensure safe operation of vehicle. 
  • Maintains records (e.g. delivery log, etc.) to document activities and provide reliable resource information. 
  • Participates in physical inventories to verify available stocks and establish losses. 
  • Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse to ensure efficient warehousing operations. 
  • Prepares orders by pulling from stock to meet delivery requirements. 
  • Transports a variety of items (e.g. records/files, supplies, equipment, materials, bank deposits, mail, checks, etc.) to receive and/or deliver materials based on scheduled and unscheduled pickup and delivery routes.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

ADMINISTRATIVE:
  • Supports the removal of hazardous products from the warehouse.
  • Ensures that the working area/s is clean and safe for employees to work in.
  • Implements approved best practices in transporting warehouse materials.
  • Maintains and services warehouse tools, machinery and trucks.
  • Drives vans or passenger cars carrying warehouse materials, when necessary.
  • Commits to follow or adhere to company policies and procedures, and supports colleagues in the warehouse to do the same.

Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
