Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and bilingual professional fluent in both Spanish and English to join our team as a Bilingual Customer Care Agent. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and catheters directly to patients. You will actively engage with Spanish-speaking patients, answering their questions and assessing their eligibility for our medical devices. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth, and committed to making a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrate, promote, and sell our products and services: Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers.
  • Develop and foster relationships with patients.
  • Meet and exceed targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly individual and team goals for new customer acquisition.
  • Research and understand the target market: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and market opportunities.
  • Collect and manage patient information: Gather personal details, medical history, and insurance coverage using electronic medical record systems or paper forms.
  • Verify insurance details: Confirm eligibility, coverage, copayments, deductibles, and any pre-authorizations required for services.
  • Explain financial responsibilities: Assist patients in understanding insurance benefits and billing procedures.
  • Coordinate appointments and referrals: Work with healthcare providers and departments within the facility.
  • Complete paperwork accurately: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries: Address questions from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Work with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks: Manage scheduling, filing, and processing referrals.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient intake or registration.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare software.
