The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provided senior management with strategic financial insights for informed decision making.
  • Manages PH monthly period-end closing activities and reports overall financial statements to top management (CEO and COO).
  • Manage all reporting including Group, Management, Statutory and Regulatory reporting within the timeline.
  • Annual budget exercise and planning activities.
  • Tax related matters including Compliance, Indirect Taxes.
  • Treasury related matters including cash flow management.
  • Ensure monthly management reports, statutory financial reports and Regulatory Reports are prepared timely and in accordance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly and quarterly reporting to the Group.
  • Review and ensure financial transactions recorded are in compliance with Group/Company accounting policies and procedures.
  • To handle balance sheet reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation.
  • Coordinate with Department Heads in the preparation, handling and controlling of the annual planning and budgeting activities.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.
  • Perform analysis, interpretation and reporting of forecast/budget/actual revenue and expenses (General Operating Expenses) for each cost center.
  • Responsible for development and monitoring of costs, including the budgeting, mapping, allocations and reporting processes.
  • End to end process of Finance tasks.
  • Handle matters pertaining to tax filling and statutory annual audit.
  • Handle matters pertaining to direct and indirect tax, including withholding tax and SST.
  • To provide assistance to Head of Finance in communicating tax related issues.
  • Handle any ad-hoc financial related tasks and assignments as and when requested by management.
  • Any other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA is required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
