The AI Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ Machine Learning (ML) projects. This role requires a unique blend of technical understanding, strong project management skills, and a keen business acumen. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution:
  1. Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Track project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product managers, business analysts) to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
Technical Understanding:
  1. Gain a foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
  2. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with data scientists and engineers in the development and deployment of AI/ML models.
  3. Ensure the quality and integrity of AI/ML models, including data quality, model performance, and ethical considerations.
Stakeholder Management:
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and end-users.
  2. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Business Acumen:
  1. Understand the business value of AI/ML projects and how they align with organizational goals.
  2. Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications.
  3. Identify and quantify the potential return on investment (ROI) of AI/ML projects.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
  1. Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI/ML models.
  2. Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI/ML models before deployment.
Continuous Improvement:
  1. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
  2. Continuously improve project management methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI/ML team.
Qualifications:
  1. Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written English.
  2. Education: Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  3. Experience: 3+ years in project management, with AI/ML experience preferred.
  4. Project Delivery: Proven success in delivering complex projects on time and budget.
  5. Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and project management tools (Jira, Asana).
  6. Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical & problem-solving with meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Teamwork: Ability to work independently & as part of a high-performing team.
  9. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of AI/ML & its business value.
  10. Technical Skills: Experience with data analysis & visualization tools (a plus).
  11. Ethics: Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI/ML development.
  12. Technical Setup: Own a PC/laptop and have a stable internet connection (min. 20 Mbps).
