Your Role as Lead AU Tax Accountant

Are you passionate about simplifying tax complexities and guiding businesses toward financial success? As a Lead AU Tax Accountant, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws while offering strategic business advice. You'll also mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, personal tax returns, company & trust returns, partnership returns, BAS, and report packs.
  • Ensure clients meet their compliance and tax obligations efficiently.
  • Provide tax consulting and strategic business planning services.
  • Train and mentor up-and-coming accounting professionals.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for enhanced client engagements.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Australian taxation for SMEs and corporations (BAS and income tax return preparation).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to train and support team members.
