About the role

Nidec Motor Philippines Corporation is looking for an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join our team. In this full-time role based in Metro Manila, you will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality, and cost-effective Workday solutions to support the company's human resources and finance operations. As a key member of our Information & Communication Technology team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and continuous improvement of our Workday systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop working relationships with other members of HRIS team and management as well as internal clients. Shares knowledge and information through regular communications and facilitation.
  • Helps train and mentor new Workday resources within the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.
  • Understands the value of a project plan, suggests the need for resources for tasks or areas assigned, adheres to established processes and standards, monitors progress of tasks against plan and reports status to appropriate team members as it relates to project issues.
  • Performs research on problems, separating the symptoms from the actual cause, and identifies corrective measures. Seeks opinions and feedback on alternative solutions and best practices and implements those that have been agreed upon by the team.
  • Support the ongoing improvement of Workday with specific focus in Core HR, Time and Absence, Payroll and US Benefits including but, not limited to configuration, testing and support.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in HR, IT, business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Workday experience
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS and database systems management experience required
  • Experience working with confidential information and critical business processes required
  • Experience in Workday Implementation preferred
  • Experience in Workday version updates impact analysis and management preferred
  • Analytical with experience working with global HR data preferred
