Job Description for Accounting Supervisor

  • Prepares report to BSP, PDIC and other regulatory bodies.

  • Performs end of the day, month-end, quarterly and annual processes at the e-banker.

  • Take charge in the preparation of journal voucher in general proof sheet.

  • Prepare form 2307 for tax withholding, perform online tax remittances and clearing of checks.

  • Prepares reports for board meetings, e.g. Comparative Balance Sheet and Income Statement, Compliance Ratios and other documents and management information system reports required by management.

  • Responsible for government Remittances online, e.g. SSS, PAG-IBIG and Philhealth Contribution.

  • Performs the month-end close & ensures that closing activities are performed in a timely & accurate manner.

  • Communicates, collaborates & coordinates with all Hotel properties & Departments in relation to the month-end closing process, requirements & deadlines.

  • Provides variance reports & analyses for revenues & expenses against budget & prior period financial reports.

  • Assists in the development & implementation of financial strategies, budgets & forecasts.

  • Conduct financial analysis, identify trends & provide insights to support decision making process.

  • Monitors & reports on key performance indicators (KPI's) & introduces process improvements to ensure financial objectives are met.

  • Does other ad hoc reports as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Preferably CPA.

  • With at least 3 years relevant working experience.

  • Strong communication skills, both written & oral, to all levels of organizations.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy & quality.

  • Customer service oriented & team player.

  • Above average proficiency in MS Applications.
