Overview

2D Echo Technologist (TMC Clinic Robinsons Galleria South) — The Medical City Clinic is seeking a 2D Echo Technologist to join the team. This role conducts non-invasive ultrasound tests to develop images and diagnose diseases in the cardiac organs, primarily the heart valves, chambers, and vessels. Reports to the Clinic Manager of TMC Clinic Robinsons Galleria South.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares patient for 2D echo by explaining heart ultrasound procedure and provides ambulatory assistance
  • Obtains and records patient identification and medical history
  • Positions patient, applies medical gel and electrodes, and connects and adjusts equipment accordingly
  • Produces high quality imaging by accurately positioning transducers and monitoring display
  • Measures heart wall thickness and chamber sizes to standard norms
  • Produces official results of tests conducted
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an allied health program (preferred)
  • Certified 2D Echo Technologist
  • Preferably with at least 6 months experience or on-the-job training in performing 2D echocardiography procedures and complying with standard imaging protocols
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Proficient communication skills (verbal and written)
