auster is a network for people shaping culture. auster is hosting an intimate night with Kitaab Club at Siyah Art House, an evening built around books, vinyl, and live music. Guests exchange books, listen to records, and watch The Monschees perform in a warm, intentional setting.

You will document the full experience, capturing the small moments that show why this format works: people browsing books, the vinyl corner, the band, and the energy of a quiet, intentional crowd.

Your role is simple: Show up, shoot everything with intention, and deliver clean, usable assets fast.

Key responsibilities:

• Cover the full event at Siyah Art House on 21 December
• Capture a bank of 40 to 60 strong photos across the full program
• Shoot enough handheld footage to cut 2 post-event reels
• Edit all reels with sound, pacing, and clear narrative
• Deliver all assets within 5 days
• Work with the auster team on any specific shots needed
• Shoot both crowd and details - the books, vinyls, performances, and space
• Keep the visual tone warm, honest, and documentary
• Handle your own gear and backup workflow

• You shoot events fast without losing quality
• You cut reels that feel intentional and clean
• You know how to shoot in low light
• You understand culture, music, and candid moments
• You can work independently without much direction
