The SAP Manager leads and oversees the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP B1 systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP B1 modules, strong project management skills, and a proven track record in managing SAP B1 solutions across multiple business functions. As the SAP Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the SAP B1 landscape is optimized to meet business needs and that the system is effectively integrated with other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Implementation and Integration:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP B1 for various business functions including finance and supply chain.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements, design solutions, and implement SAP B1 configurations.
• Manage and oversee the integration of SAP B1 with third-party systems, ensuring data flows seamlessly across systems.
• Ensure that SAP B1 solutions are aligned with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

SAP Support and Optimization:

• Oversee day-to-day SAP B1 system operations, including system monitoring, issue resolution, and user support.
• Manage the SAP B1 help desk, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to system errors or malfunctions.
• Optimize SAP B1 system performance through regular updates, system enhancements, and fine-tuning.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and releases to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage the SAP team, including functional consultants, developers, system administrators, and business analysts.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering professional development and enhancing technical skills.
• Set team goals, manage workloads, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure effective collaboration between SAP team members and other departments (IT, Finance, Supply Chain).

SAP Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data security policies, and industry standards.
• Implement SAP B1 governance frameworks and ensure best practices are followed for configuration, security, and data management.
• Conduct audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure the integrity and reliability of SAP systems.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Manage the SAP department's budget, including costs related to licenses, hardware, training, and consultants.
• Work with senior management to define resource requirements and secure necessary resources for SAP projects.
• Evaluate and recommend third-party vendors, consultants, and tools for SAP-related initiatives.

SAP Strategic Planning:

• Work closely with business leaders to understand long-term goals and ensure SAP solutions align with business strategies.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (such as SAP B1, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, etc.) and make recommendations for system upgrades or migrations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and streamline processes.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports, project timelines, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Maintain records of system changes, customizations, and user access logs to ensure proper audit trails.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP B1 modules such as Finance, and Supply chain.
• Experience with SAP B1, S/4HANA, and other emerging SAP technologies.
• Experience with data migration, SAP B1 system performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with experience managing large-scale SAP B1 projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex SAP B1 issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and work effectively with senior leadership.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working with SAP B1 systems, including significant experience in leading SAP B1 projects or managing SAP teams.
