Position/Title: RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

B. KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Reports to: TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER

C. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Discussing and establishing qualification requirements and terms and conditions of employment with managers.
  2. Formulating detailed job descriptions and posting them.
  3. Conducting phone calls or meetings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
  4. Interviewing candidates on the shortlist and maintaining a database on employees for future vacancies.
  5. Mediating between candidates and hiring managers.
  6. Using web-based technology and social media to analyze hiring trends, post job vacancies, and follow up with candidates during the hiring process.
  7. Producing reports on hiring plans and strategies.
  8. Measuring the results of candidate interviews and job placements using hiring metrics software.
  9. Analyzing recruitment software and the performance of recruitment agencies and recommending improvements or changes.

D. QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or another related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience as a recruiting specialist with a track record of employee placement.
  3. Ability to work within a team and to coordinate team activities.
  4. Excellent analytical skills to examine resumes and find the best-suited candidates.
  5. Clear verbal skills to communicate well with candidates and managers.
  6. Proficient writing skills to produce reports on hiring analyses.
  7. Leadership abilities to delegate tasks and train new employees.
  8. Strong negotiation skills when discussing terms and conditions of employment.
  9. In-depth knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity.
  10. The ability to evaluate recruiting software packages and to recommend those which are best suited to the company. Must be willing to work in BGC Taguig.
