Location: Makati City

Job Overview

  • Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting network and security architecture for both NECPH and PSBU projects.
  • Demonstrates extensive experience and proficiency in cyber security/information security practices.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing risks to protect against cyberthreats that can disrupt internal and external client productivity.
  • Ensures only authorized users can access sensitive information and systems. Recommends strong authentication mechanisms, access controls, and monitoring systems to protect client data from breaches and malicious activities.
  • Prepares for and effectively responds to security incidents through detection and response strategies.
  • Responsible for regular security assessments, employee training on security best practices, and the use of secure technology such as firewalls and encryption.
  • Adapts and implements network and security upgrades across cloud and on-premise server environments.
  • Prepared to travel locally for onsite support as required by clients or projects.
  • Can work long hours, weekends, and holidays based on project priorities and deadlines.
  • Capable of making informed decisions and solving problems independently with minimal supervision.
  • Takes ownership and accountability for their work and outcomes without constant oversight.
  • Possesses the requisite skills and knowledge to effectively perform assigned tasks.
  • Manages time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
  • Works independently while maintaining open communication channels for updates and feedback.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze security and network issues across workstations, servers, and cloud environments.
  • Provide support to all teams or groups connecting to the network infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain network and security for on-premises or cloud-based setups.
  • Assist clients in conducting technical and functional testing to ensure stability.
  • Administer and manage network and security systems on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Support clients with maintenance activities, both onsite and remotely.
  • Investigate and resolve network, information security, and cyber security-related problems.
  • Investigate security breaches and implement solutions to resolve them.
  • Coordinate and manage internal teams or subcontractors to ensure project completion.
  • Provide ongoing support for operations, including administration and monitoring tasks.
  • Assist in installing patches for security.
  • Assist in upgrading versions of security applications as required.
  • Assist with creating incident management tickets and provide necessary documentation.
  • Ensure cyber security compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

What our Client is Looking For:

  • Must possess at least 5 years of practical experience in any 2 security fields such as security and risk management, security architecture and engineering, Identity and access management (IAM), or security operations.
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience in managing and securing data in a cyber security platform.
  • Having a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification is a plus.
  • Should possess experience in developing security policies, managing risks, responding to incidents, designing secure systems, controlling user access, and establishing security governance frameworks.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in network management and network infrastructure security.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, configuration, and version patching is a plus.
  • At least 1 year experience using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • At least 2 years' experience in implementing and supporting network and security deployment.
  • Must have knowledge in VAPT testing.
  • Must have knowledge in configuring and maintaining CISCO and Juniper platforms.
  • Good communication and written skills are essential.
