We are looking for a highly organized, skilled and proactive Project Manager with experience in manufacturing operations, engineering development and product design. This role is responsible for managing projects that bridge physical production, technical engineering, and creative design. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, production workflows, and can effectively coordinate cross-functional teams to drive timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.

Scope of Work:

The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution for initiatives related to manufacturing operations, product design, and technical experts. Role will be a liaison between creative (Product Designers), technical (Engineers), factories, and internal operational teams to bring new product launches forward.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, execute, and manage multiple manufacturing and product-related projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Collaborate with and communicate between product designers, software/hardware engineers, and factory teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Actively source and vet engineering and design talent, both in-house and through third-party contractors or partners.
  • Align production and design timelines to ensure readiness for manufacturing and delivery for new products only.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and quality issues.
  • Ensure regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements are met for new projects.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Prepare post-project evaluations and recommend process improvements for future initiatives.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of project management experience dealing with physical products; not services or "tech".
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma considered

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, Asana, Jira).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Effective leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable plans.
  • Understanding of data flows between operational systems and front-end platforms.
