Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Healthcare industry to hire a Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This opportunity is based in the Philippines and offers the chance to lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives within a growing healthcare retail organisation.

Position Overview

Lead and oversee the organisation's financial operations, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and long-term financial sustainability.
Drive strategic growth through financial leadership, operational excellence, automation, AI adoption, and business expansion support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function, covering accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and internal controls.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making and business expansion.
  • Mentor and build a high-performing finance and supply chain team (approx. 100 staff).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive automation and AI integration into financial processes.
  • Manage complex financial consolidation, including reporting up to a holding company.
  • Support M&A, corporate structuring, and investor relations activities.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred.
  • At least 15 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, ideally with prior Big 4 audit exposure.
  • Experience in M&A, corporate structuring, and investor relations.
  • Proven ability to lead large finance and supply chain teams (approx. 100 staff), mentor talent, and build best-in-class finance organisations.

Technical / Functional Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax, audit, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Proficiency in financial consolidation, IFRS reporting, and conversion from Philippine Accounting Standards.
  • Familiarity with automation, AI-driven financial processes, and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar).
  • Experience managing complex financial consolidation and reporting structures within a holding company environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
