General Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager - Automotive to join Autohub Group of Companies in a full-time capacity. Based in Marikina City, Metro Manila, this is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving sales performance and managing all aspects of our automotive sales operations. As General Sales Manager, you will have a direct impact on revenue generation, team performance, and the overall success of our dealership. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic sales team and shape the commercial direction of our business in one of the Philippines' most vibrant automotive markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all vehicle segments

• Lead, recruit, train and motivate the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and sales excellence

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department, including sales processes, customer interactions and transaction management

• Monitor individual and team sales performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve results and address performance gaps

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and corporate clients to ensure repeat business and client retention

• Conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities, market trends and competitive positioning within the automotive industry

• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, challenges and recommended actions

• Manage the sales budget and ensure cost-effective operations whilst maintaining profitability targets

• Collaborate with marketing, finance and after-sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience and business alignment

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and consumer protection laws in all sales activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven sales management experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a dealership environment

• Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, develop and motivate high-performing sales teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers, staff and senior management

• Deep knowledge of automotive products, market dynamics, customer purchasing behaviour and sales techniques

• Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of Philippine automotive market regulations and consumer protection laws is advantageous

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake test drives with customers as required
