Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, identifying and mitigating workplace health hazards and risks.
  • Primarily assists the Doctor in various procedures and attends to patient concerns and inquiries.
  • Attends to patient's pre and post-treatment care.
  • As Medical representative, you will have principal function of calling upon specialist physicians and retail pharmacies.
  • Educates medical and paramedical students, and train and mentor medical students, extern physicians on a particular field of medicine.
  • Executes the medical plan in the field by communicating fair-balanced therapeutic area, product-related and clinical information.
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives.
  • Ensures that targets on cost, patient experience and patient outcomes for an assigned Business (i.e., In-patient, Outpatient, ER, Medical, Sales) are met.
  • Conducts and performs history taking by interviewing patients.
  • Encodes the patient's medical history and results.
  • Develop scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, advanced practice providers, primary care physicians, and diverse healthcare decision makers.
  • Performs completed staff work to ensure availability of relevant, trusted healthcare and benefits providers and physicians (e.g., data collection, preparation).
  • Answers incoming phone calls from health care providers (e.g., physician offices, clinics) and identifies the type of assistance the provider needs (e.g., benefit inquiries).
  • The Scanner is responsible for managing inbound fax lines to sort and process documents efficiently and accurately, and initial and ongoing communication with others involved in the process.
  • Oversees the credentialing process (physician and allied health), maintaining communication and acting as a liaison with hospitals and Medical Staff.
