Job Description:

The Platform Owner for Asia IT Engineering, DevSecOps, and Container Platform will be responsible for leading and managing Engineering, DevSecOps, and Container Platform teams, driving technical strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. This role will also oversee the implementation of DevSecOps and Engineering best-practices, ensuring the security and more efficient delivery of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- *Technical Leadership:*
- Lead and manage technology teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
- Drive technical strategy and innovation, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- *Platform Development:*
- Oversee improvements in the platform's processes and services, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, as well as regional governance teams including Audit, Finance, Security, Architecture, and Risk and Compliance across Asia, guaranteeing alignment with compliance directives.
- *DevSecOps:*
- Oversee implementation of DevSecOps practices, ensuring the security and faster delivery of our systems.
- Oversee development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure as code.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- *Operations and Maintenance:*
- Oversee the operations and maintenance of our systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Oversee development and implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for key platform tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and EKS.
- *Team Management:*
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing technology team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

*Requirements:*

- *Technical Skills:*
- Strong experience with programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools, such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- *Leadership Skills:*
- Proven experience in technical leadership, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality products and services.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- *Experience:*
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with automation testing and test-driven development.

*Nice to Have:*
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements, such as OWASP.
