Job Description:
  • The position holds a pivotal responsibility in stewarding and implementing the social media operating guideline and influencer initiative for the Agency Force. The role ensures advisors can effectively use social media for lead generation & deepening client relationship while mitigating regulatory & reputational risks. The Social Media Specialist serves as the frontline responder for all social media-related concerns raised by or involving advisors.
  • Social media marketing knowledge
  • Compliance and regulatory knowledge
  • Understanding of content creation including copywriting, graphic design, and video production
  • Digital native – high proficiency in using web-based/digital tools; must have good understanding of how technology and digital solutions work
  • Project management and organization skills
  • College graduate, preferably with a degree in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • With at least 3 years work experience in social media marketing, creatives, or communications
  • Experience in developing and implementing communications, including content planning and execution.
  • Experience in project management, particularly in coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry or similar regulated industries is beneficial but not always required if the candidate demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn industry-specific regulations and guidelines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Stewardship and implementation of the social media operating guideline for advisors
  • Strategic planning and execution of social media content libraries for advisors
  • Management of internal "influencers"
  • Monitoring and audit of advisor social media posts
  • Primary liaison for social media concerns
